Anti-money-laundering and KYC policy
This Anti-Money-Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) policy explains how Royal Reels Casino prevents its services from being used for money laundering or terrorist financing. It supports our Terms & Conditions and applies to every player and every payment method, including cryptocurrency.
1. Our commitment
1.1. We are committed to meeting our legal and regulatory obligations under the licence granted by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros. We maintain internal controls, monitoring and record-keeping designed to detect and prevent financial crime.
1.2. We may report suspicious activity to the competent authorities, and we are not permitted to tip off a player that a report has been made.
2. Customer due diligence (KYC)
2.1. Every player must register personally and provide accurate information. Before a first withdrawal, and at other times where required, we verify identity.
2.2. We may request a valid government-issued photo ID (passport, driver licence or identity card), a proof of address dated within the last three months (utility bill or bank statement), and proof of the payment method used.
2.3. We may apply enhanced due diligence for higher-risk situations, including large or unusual transactions, and for politically exposed persons.
3. Age verification
3.1. Our services are restricted to adults aged 18 or over. We verify age as part of KYC and will close any account found to belong to a minor, voiding related transactions. See our Age Policy (18+).
4. False or incomplete information
4.1. If a player provides false, incomplete or misleading information, or fails to complete verification, we may suspend the account, withhold funds and decline withdrawals until the matter is resolved.
5. Verification timeframes
5.1. We aim to review submitted documents within 24 to 48 hours. Withdrawals are not processed until verification is complete. Clear, legible documents help us complete checks quickly.
6. Source of funds
6.1. We may ask a player to demonstrate the source of the funds used to play, in particular where deposits or play patterns are inconsistent with the information held. Acceptable evidence may include payslips, bank statements or other documentation.
6.2. We do not accept funds derived from any illegal, fraudulent or otherwise prohibited activity, and the account may not be used as a bank account.
7. Monitoring and suspicious activity
7.1. We monitor transactions and play for signs of structuring, rapid deposit-and-withdrawal with minimal play, use of third-party payment methods, and other indicators of risk.
7.2. Where we identify suspicious activity, we may freeze the account, request further information and, where required, make a report to the relevant authority.
8. Politically exposed persons and sanctions
8.1. We screen players against applicable sanctions and watchlists and apply additional checks to politically exposed persons (PEPs) and their close associates.
8.2. We do not provide services to individuals or entities subject to relevant sanctions.
9. Payment methods and third parties
9.1. You must only use payment methods registered in your own name. The use of third-party cards, wallets or accounts is prohibited and may result in account closure.
10. Record keeping
10.1. We retain identity, transaction and verification records for the period required by applicable law, even after an account is closed, so that we can meet our regulatory obligations.
